NOLA colourful memories

I shot these pictures in New Orleans, 2016, while participating to the shooting of a musical web documentary (Music On The Road, produced by the French TV channel Arte). The first ones were taken at Po Boy’s. And the other ones near Frenchmen/Burgundy street and Sportsman’s Corner. I sometimes remind myself of the moment when the plane landed in the evening sky: all the clouds were pink, orange, purple or deep blue. All these colours are printed forever in my memory. The air was hot and moist and there was music playing in every corner and people smiling everywhere. I had a sweet but intense sensation that each of my senses was awake. Despite the sequels left by Hurricane Katrina - related to a persistent poverty - NOLA is a magical place. And sometimes a little bit strange. This is what I wanted to highlight with these pictures.
