A concept developed in the 1960s, leisure centers are an inexpensive way to swim, practice water and outdoor sports and find a spot of nature in which to relax close to the city. There are 12 of them in the Paris region, and they've become increasingly popular in recent years.  This series features photos taken in Bois-le-Roi, Créteil, Draveil (Ile-de-France) and Le Vernet-la-Varenne (Auvergne).
